We're super excited to welcome Nuree to The International Bunch who joins us for a couple of months as Marketing Assistant. We caught up with Nuree in her first week to chat about her experiences.

Nuree

Do you want to start off by telling our readers a bit about yourself and your professional background?

I graduated from the University of Wales Trinity St David in Wales in 2017 with a degree in Graphic Design. During my time at university, I got involved with different Student Ambassador roles and enjoyed doing their social media.

After getting a taste of marketing through these roles, I became really interested in marketing and then enrolled in different courses to learn more about how I could

develop my skills. Once I finished university, I worked as an Admin Assistant in Cardiff, Wales and got to visit Parliament, ITV and BBC offices. I was also part of a BBC documentary. As I love all things to do with organizing and planning - I really enjoyed this role.

After a year, I moved to a new role in Swansea working for a company specializing in e-commercial websites and I currently work here as well as my work with The International Bunch. I was originally born in London but I’ve always lived in Swansea and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

What excites you the most about your work with The International Bunch?

I’m really looking forward to working with such lovely people! Also, learning so much

more about marketing in the academic publishing world. I love working with different

people and look forward to getting to know everyone. Everyone is so welcoming and I’m

super excited to work together. I’m looking forward to creating some exciting content and also seeing it go live!

Finally, outside of your working life, how do you like to spend your time?

I’m obsessed with my cat Bella, who has a bit of Bengal in her (she’s super feisty!). I’m

either spending time with her or you’ll find me watching cat videos. I’m also into arts and

crafts. I like to make hand made cards with my die cutting machine for my penpals. I like

to scrapbook and journal as well. I’m really into Korean drama’s and would love to go

visit South Korea one day.
