A big thank you and a happy new year!

Updated: Jun 9, 2023

With Christmas now past and New Year knocking on the door, it's rather quiet here in the office. Facebook is alive with people chatting about the festive season, many of them off until the New Year, posting pictures of the good times. Sadly though some have lost loved ones and so let's take a moment, and raise a glass to remember them.

No white Christmas for us here in Penclawdd - who am I kidding - being on Gower peninsular we're apparently only likely to get snow an average of six days per year - I've been here six years and only seen snow a handful of times on the north side of Gower!

Ok best get on with the task at hand, most may be off (you lucky things!) but we're busy working here and I wanted to take a couple of minutes to send a quick message.

What a year 2018 has been - we've had a cracker (pardon the Christmas pun).

We wanted to send a quick message to say a HUGE thank you to our clients for inviting us to be involved in some fabulous projects - we really couldn't do this without you...no really... we actually couldn't! We've got some great 2019 projects lined up already so watch this space...including an article we'll be publishing from some recent research.

Also, we wanted to say a massive thank you to our team of freelancers who have supported us throughout 2018 and into 2019, you are the glue that binds us together, beavering away in the offices all over the world!

I'll sign off now before everyone stops for the weekend and the coming New Year celebrations. You can catch up with me personally at RLUK & Arcadia Fund film screening - Paywall: The Business of Scholarship, Researcher to Reader, London Book Fair and UKSG over the coming months - I look forward to catching up with you soon.

Happy New Year - all the best for 2019!

And for those celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Pig - Happy New Year for February 2019!
